VSVN is operated by a team of dedicated volunteers and cannot function without the generosity of their time and commitment. As a small sign of our appreciation for their efforts, volunteers receive complimentary access to all VSVN services and event.

Our volunteers represent some of the most recognized names in the high-tech industry and some of the most prestigious service providers and institutions such as: Acer, Applied Materials, Cadence, HP, Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, Flextronics, IBM, Intel, Lucent Technologies, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stantley Dean Witter, Samsung, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Microsoft, Nortel, City National Bank, Standford University, and Yahoo!

Volunteers can join one or more of the following committees:

CEO/Founder’s Forum

Areas of responsibility: to develop and maintain a circle of influential senior executives and company founders who can share business leads and their collective experiences in managing and growing high-tech companies; to manage and grow the Entrepreneurs’ Academy and Mentor Program.

Corporate Sponsorship

Areas of responsibility: to raise operating funds through corporate sponsorships, foundations, and private donations.

Events/Strategic Alliances

Areas of responsibility: to manage and coordinate logistics for all VSVN events; to establish and maintain partnerships with affiliate organizations.

Internet and Website Management

Areas of responsibility: to develop and maintain the VSVN website, database and value added services such as LinkedIN and PC/Mac Mall discount programs.

Public Relations/Marketing

Areas of responsibility: to establish and maintain relationships with the media, press, and affiliate organizations; and to develop a positive public image consistent with VSVN’s vision.

Members/Volunteer Recruitment

Areas of responsibility: to develop value-add services for members and recruit committed volunteers.
